Excuse me while I am a drama queen for a few moments.
I am so tired. Zonked. Exhausted. Catatonic. I was actually WALKING today and thought I might just fall asleep. I mean it. I almost leaned up against the wall and took a nap, right then and there in the hallway at work.
I don’t quite get it. Maybe it’s daylight savings time ending a few days ago. Maybe it’s trying to catch up with all of the work that piled up while I was in Turkey (surprise surprise, the world didn’t just stop for me). Maybe it’s the heater in my building that has started to kick on, in all of it’s clicking and pounding and hissing and wall-shaking glory, at 2:30 every morning. Whatever it is, I’m too tired to write about it anymore.
